Scrapbooking

I've been spending a lot of time scrapbooking the last few months. I decided that I haven't been updating my blog often enough, so I'm going to start posting a few of my pages. Don't let the dates or the poor quality of the pictures fool you...they are as old as they look. Many years ago I had to take all my pictures out of the albums they were in because they weren't acid or lignen free. I have since placed them all in a safe environment, and have scrapbooked a ton of them. I've had to turn a lot of them into black and white. These are pictures I don't want to part with so I just go with what I have. That being said, this is a page of my daughter's first violin recital in 1983. The pictures are a bit faded, and I certainly didn't have any photography skills at the time, but now this page is safe in it's new home. I'm now down to less than 100 photos, and very pleased with the results. I will start posting them as they're made.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

  1. This is beautiful Jean. I love the look of the photo's. I'm a big scrapbooker myself and have a lot of catching up to do to. I got into making cards and then my scrapbooking kinda went on the wayside!
