Bagalope for Shirley's Monster Mash Blog Hop

TGIF, and thank you for stopping by. Shirley at Look at my Cute Stuff is hostessing a monster mash blog hop. Although this is her third week, this is my first entry. Remember way back when bagalopes were popular? Maybe I'm really dating myself with that question, LOL. Anyway, I started with a black envelope. I ran it through the big shot using the SU Spider Web Embossing Folder, then sponged it with a Whisper White Craft Ink Pad. The cute spider is from the Kidoodles set. It's punched with a circle punch then mounted on a piece of CS punched with the

2-3/8 Scallop Circle. I colored the hat and mask with Spica Glitter pens. Very, very easy, and it holds quite a few goodies. Speaking of goodies...the pencil is in one of the new 1" x 8" Cellophane Bags in the new Holiday Mini. They are quite the bargain at 50 for $2.50. The Frankie stamp is from Batty for You.

I hope you have a great weekend!

  1. Hi Jean. Love this little bagalope and you're not dating yourself....what goes around comes around, right! The web looks just perfect on it! I'd fogotten about these envie bags, but now that I think of it I've got some stashed in various colours just for those fun occasions when you need something quick. This is a great size treatbag for kids or adults alike!TFS.

  2. Hi Jean! Your not dating yourself, (maybe I'm also dated, cuz I know what a bagalope is too! LOL!) Your bagalope is awesome!

  3. Hmmm.... I have never heard of a Bagalope before.(you might have to explain it to me) I do love how you put the bag through the big shot with the embossing folder. I really would love some of that Candy Corn, mix that with Planters Dry Roasted peanuts and YUM YUM! Thanks for making a project for my Monday Monster Mash Blog Hop!!
