Blended Bloom

I was working with our new Blended Bloom stamp along with Blendabilities alcohol markers this past weekend. The sentiment is from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit. I love the way it came out. I can't say this was a very quick card to make. It took me about 30 minutes to color the image, then another 5 to cut it out. I don't make fussy cards too often, but had to after taking all that time on the flower. In comparing the Blendabilities with Copics, I must say, I like these better. Since they are not refillable, the price point is better. I also like that the colors coordinate with Stampin' Up! products. Instead of starting with light to dark like Copics, it's recommended that you color from dark to light. Three markers come to a set so I just colored each petal individually from dark to light. It's really pretty in person. The markers are square so they won't roll around. One negative for me is that the lids are pretty firm to remove and to put back on. I guess they need the good seal. I still have quite a few Copic markers and will probably always keep them. Watch the short video and see for yourself.
