Treat Bag Tutorial

It's so easy to make a quick treat bag using our Trim the Tree Designer Paper Series Stack. Choose two sheets that are alike. Simply use the size that they already come in and score both pieces on 3 sides at one inch. I am happy to report that I have used up so much of my Trim the Tree Stack that I don't have two like pieces. I will be using two pieces from our Moonlight Stack that are exactly the same size in this tutorial.

Trim up the scored sides at the bottom two intersecting score lines to form one side of box. I cut a small sliver out so that it is easier to put together. Repeat for the second piece. You now have the front and back.

Add adhesive to small tabs. ( Where the Red arrows are pointing). I used Fast Fuse. When making a three dimensional box, a stronger adhesive should be used. Sticky Strip would be fine as well.

Add adhesive to inside of one along the sides and the bottom.

Pinch the top together. I used the small tags from our Under the Tree Tag a Bag Accessory Kit as closures. I scored the top at one inch, then adhered it with Fast Fuse to the back of the bag. The twine and clothespins are also from the Under the Tree Kit.

My stamped sentiments are from the Good Greetings Hostess Set. I punched them out with the Modern Label Punch.

These little bags are easy to make, and can be decorated for any occasion. Give one a try!
