Indian Corn Favors

Hello, and welcome. I saw these marvelous treat holders on Pinterest by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Connie Stewart. They are so stinking cute.
It's that time of year for treats, and I just can't get enough of all the wonderful creations that add so much pizzazz to our treat projects. In this case, our Gold Glimmer Paper adds just enough sparkle to make the leaves pop. They were die cut with the Leaflets Framelits Set.
The husk is a 4 x 11 piece of Crumb Cake. Burnish is several times with a bone folder to break down the fibers. Cut strips on one side at 1/2" increments. Sponge with chocolate chip, then twist one end. The M & M's are in pretzel bags that have been cut down in size. Add your bag to the husk, then twist closed, and tie with Linen Thread. Add your embellishments, and you're finished.
