Memory Making Monday - Project Life Photo Rescue Step #1

Hello, and welcome to another Memory Making Monday post. I have been following Becky Higgins, the creator of Project Life, on Instagram. She started a project last week that she called Project Life Photo Rescue. She went to one of her lucky follower's home in Olathe, Kansas last week. Becky spent three days helping Jen organize her scrapbooks, photos, memrobilia, crafting supplies, and more. The end goal was to get her in a great place to continue on her journey on her own. I enjoyed that series of posts, and it sure helped me get things organized in my own mind as to what I want to do with my own memory keeping.

Her first step was to bring all of your scrapbooks into one place. This helps you to be aware of which projects that have been started, and those that are not finished. She said it is really okay to let go of some of those. The pile of albums in the back row are all finished. The ones in the front are not. Seeing mine all together reminded me that I am doing pretty good in some ways, and not so much in others. It helped me make a decision on how to move forward. I decided to start using the PL App, and printing service for a couple of events that I really don't want to give up on. Those are the 2015 Leadership Event, the 2015 Stampin' Up! Convention, and our big cross country move in September. I plan on sticking with my mix of using Project Life, traditional, and some digital in my family album. The point is that I now have a pretty solid game plan. It makes me feel a lot better about my memory making in general. Here's wishing you all feel good about moving onward and upward!
