Stampin' Up! published a great Chalkboard Technique Video a few days ago. It was right up my simple and sweet alley, so I gave it a try right away. In a matter of minutes I created the cute card shown above. Making that one spurred the idea for a Christmas version. It's a fun technique that I hope you'll try real soon. Watch the video to see just how easy it is.
I used Watercolor Words for my card, and made it almost just
like the one in the video. The little banner on top of the heart is from
Teeny Tiny Wishes. It's really a fun technique.
The card below was made using a couple of the stamps from this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit. I now know that I like the bigger, bolder stamps like the ones on the card above better. The tree was punched out of a box from a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit. It is all mounted on a pre-made notecard.

What a great card! I've never tried the chalkboard technique, I don't think, so I might have to give it a whirl one of these days!
