Too Good To Be Forgotten Thursday

I am teaming together with members of my Jean's Paper Jewels Team to bring you some special creations today. We're calling it Too Good To Be Forgotten Thursday. I challenged them to use a current stamp set that is not brand new. I'm hoping that we can do this at least once a month. I know you will enjoy seeing these creations, and be inspired to do the same yourself.

I used the lovely High Tide Stamp Set. It's been sitting on my shelf needing some love for quite a while. I made four cards of the same design so that I could use all four of the fabulous sentiments that come with the set.

I sponged the sky with Bermuda Bay first, then added some little hints of color with Lemon-Lime Twist, and Calypso Coral with a Sponge Dauber. This was using Thick Whisper White Card Stock.  I stamped the lighthouse on a separate piece of Whisper White in Smokey Slate first, then added the second stamp inked with Real Red. I fussy cut the image then attached it to the stamped layer. I used my Stamparatus to get a partial stamping of the birds instead of the six that are on the stamp. I also used it to stamp the sentiments so that they would be straight.

I stamped the small patch of sand, and the sandpiper birds on the inside of each card. I didn't want to miss out on using that great image.

Next I have a beautiful card designed by Danni Bindel. She used the ever popular Painted Harvest Stamp Set. The colors are absolutely gorgeous! She used Powder Pink, Lovely Lipstick, Fresh Fig, Pear Pizzazz, and Garden Green.
You can see all the details on Danni's Blog HERE.

I hope you have enjoyed our Too Good To Be Forgotten creations! We'll be back with more real soon.

I am giving away FREE gifts this month to celebrate the new catalog. Any online order placed between now and June 30th will qualify for one of my handmade cards. Those of you that place an online order of $50 or more will receive a pack of our embellishments. (Styles vary).

I know you will be enjoying all the beautiful new coordinating products from Stampin' UP! as much as I do. Find some time soon to start creating. Enjoy your day!
