CC-05

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's time for a new Chic Challenge sketch.

I love the bright colors on the Quatrefancy Specialty Papers. The little piece from that pack brought everything together. I only wish I had my new ribbon. That's the only thing I would have changed. The new ribbons have been ordered, and I am offering a ribbon share. I have two spots left in this first one. See the post below for details. Look closely at the bottom half of the Daffodil Yellow mat. I actually used the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder to stamp on it rather than emboss. It just takes pouncing the ink pad on the raised portion of the folder then applying pressure over the surface. I love the effect. I was also able to clear emboss the sentiment because the marvelous SU ink pads are juicy enough to add the powder. That also gave the card more personality. I really like the way it came out.
I do hope you will visit the Chic Challenge Blog for more ideas. Please join us by submitting your take on the card sketch. Have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by
