Hello, and welcome. We're just about settled in our new home. It's wonderful to be able to work on my paper crafting again. Between working on the house, and baby sitting my grandson, I have been able to sneak in a bit of time to make some cards. I am confident that I will get a good routine going soon.
This cute card uses several new products from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The sweet bear is from the Thankful Forest Friends set. Look carefully at her paw above the little thanks sentiment. I stamped it again, and just cut out a paw so that I could slip the sentiment under like she's holding it. The new Fine Tip Glue Pen helped me achieve this. It is perfect for adhering small embellishments, glitter, and small paper cutouts like this one. I recommend this glue, highly. I also used it to adhere the Linen Thread to the Into the Woods Element. The little thanks sentiment came from the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set that says Thanks A Bunch. I just omitted the last two words by inking up the stamp, then slipped a post it note under the words I didn't want. The inside sentiment is from Crazy about You.
This was a fun card to make. I really like the Thankful Forest Friends set, so you will see more of it. I will be using the set for my October online stamp club. Stay tuned for more details.
