Hello, and welcome! Today I have an easy gift card holder that is perfect for a teacher. With this year being especially challenging it's good to know that we still have so many dedicated educators that are willing to weather the storm.
I started with a 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Thick Whisper White, and folded it in half at 3 1/4". The fold is on the right hand side. I marked the top right piece down 1", and the bottom left of the top up 1". I made a pencil mark from point to point then cut the angle using my Stampin' Trimmer. I used a piece of 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" paper from the 2020-2022 In Color Paper Pack and glued it down to the left side of the card. I then lined up another piece of designer paper to the front flap that was a little bigger so I could trim it with scissors. To make the pocket all I had to do was add Tear And Tape to the bottom, and left hand side.
The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark on a scrap of Coastal Cabana, then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I just cut that piece out by hand. The apple is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then punched out with the coordinating Apple Builder Punch. I used scraps of Real Red, Old Olive, and Soft Suede. The apple is raised on Dimensionals.
This easy gift card holder can be made in any style. I hope you will give it a try!
