Sending Sunshine with My First 5" x 7" Impossible Card

It's time for another Sending Sunshine Instagram Hop, where we come together on the second Friday of each monthto spread kindness, encouragement, and positivity. Our hope is to inspire others to reach out with a smile, compliment a stranger, check in with a friend or family member, lend a helping hand, or simply remember to take care of themselves—because you are worth it.

For this month's hop, I created a 5" x 7" Impossible Card using the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper PackFloral Flight AccentsArray of Dots embellishments, and a sentiment from All Aflutter.

I followed a tutorial by Sam Calcott of Mixed Up Crafts for my very first Impossible Card. I have to admit, I was a little intimidated by the design at first, but once I got started, it wasn't nearly as complicated as I expected. In fact, it was so much fun to put together, and I love the unique way it folds and stands.

The cheerful papers and delicate accents came together perfectly to create a card that I hope brightens someone's day—exactly what the Sending Sunshine Hop is all about.

Be sure to pop over to Instagram and search #sendingsunshinehop2026 to see all of the fabulous projects from the talented participants. You're sure to find plenty of inspiration and encouragement along the way.

Interested in joining us for a future hop? We'd love to have you! Simply message @craftyengineer or @missmissamakes on Instagram for more information.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope you'll find a little way to spread some sunshine wherever you go!
