Hello Kitty Birthday Card

Hello, and welcome! Our lovely little granddaughter turns three this week. I used a bunch of Stampin' Up! products to make this sweet card.

The card base is Thick Whisper White. The kitty face is one of the Layering Ovals Dies. The ears are from our retired Hearts Thinlites set. I just cut the whiskers out by hand, and used a 1/4" circle punch for the eyes. The tiny nose comes from the Apron Builder Die Set. The two bows, and ribbon like borders are from our All The Presents, and the fancy bottom lace border is from Delicate Lace. Of course I had to make a matching envelope using our Envelope Punch Board. The letters are from the Large Letter Die Set.

I made the cute plaid layer by stamping the Buffalo Check Stamp on Whisper White using Daffodil Delight Ink. I drew the lines in with a Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker. Buffalo Check Stamp Tips

Have you seen the Buffalo Check background stamp? It makes a great background just as is, but can be made into terrific plaid designs as well. Buffalo Check is so popular, and can be found on so many items these days from coffee cups to jackets.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the regular image. It came in real handy, as the larger images can sometimes be stubborn. Being able to stamp it multiple times in the exact same place was helpful. I added just a touch of snail adhesive to my white cardstock so that I could secure it to my grid paper. I used Daffodil Delight for my main image. To make it into plaid, I simply used my Melon Mambo marker, and drew lines across the middle of the white spaces using a ruler. It made the perfect background for my card.

Stampin' Up! Embellishment Holder

Hello, and welcome. I finished the 6" x 6" paper holder that I showed on my last Facebook Live Video, but turned it into an embellishment holder. 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Holder

Hello, and welcome! Today's project holds my 6" x 6" designer series papers. I used a piece of the beautiful Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The designs are on heavyweight paper from handpainted designs. 4 designs have a translucent, pearlized finis. There are 24 sheets, 4 each of 6 double-sided designs. It 12" x 12".

Price: $27.00 I made some dividers by adding tabs made with the Circle Tab punch. I have 6 different designs of our 6" x 6" paper. The box is not reinforced, and I just used card stock for the base. Stamparatus Hinge Stamping Technique

These can be made with any designer paper, as well as for any occasion. Here is one that I made with a piece of designer paper from the Wood Textures paper pack. The great thing is that paper is already 6" x 6".
