Memory Making Monday - Scrapbooking Tips

Hello, and welcome to another Memory Making Monday on my blog. I don't have any earth shattering tips that will change your life, but I wanted to share a few that might make your scrapbooking a little easier.

Just before Christmas, I decided to start an album that was just dedicated to our Christmases, past, present, and future. I wanted to make it using the Project Life method. I ordered the 3 ring album shown above from Amazon. I just cut one of the insert cards from our Hello December Collection, and slipped it in the front pocket. I then added a rhinestone that I colored with a red Copic marker. That's it! I found all the pages that I had scrapbooked in the past, and slipped them into the page protectors that came with the album. I had a few Project Life pages that I made a couple of years ago, and added those as well. It was really fun to see how my style of scrapbooking changed from year to year. I left the album on the coffee table, and my family and visitors really enjoyed looking at it.

My point is this...whatever style suits you best, just get those pictures out of storage boxes, and into albums for everyone to enjoy. I really don't have a specific style any longer. I want things simple, and doable. I use digital, traditional, and slip into pockets Project Life style these days. Don't fret or over analyze. If you have an overwhelming amount of photos to get done, I suggest you start with the most current, and work backwards. Your friends, and family don't really care how much you decorate the pages, or how many elements you use. Looking at the pictures in albums is what makes everyone happy...including you!

Here's wishing you a wonderful new year of memory making. If I can answer any questions, or help you in any way, please contact me.

We have a ton going on at Stampin' Up! right now. Please read on to see what's in store.

I have added a new rewards program to my blog. I started out with my Online Stamping Journeys a few months ago, but have changed it into an easier way to share my creations with you. Please click on the button above to read all about my Stamping Journeys Samples Rewards Program.

You can earn FREE products from January 5 - March 31. For every $50 you spend (before tax and shipping), you get one FREE! product from the Sale.A.Bration brochure.

There are two other ways to benefit from this yearly event. It is also the best time of year to join Stampin' Up! During Sale.A.Bration you can become a demonstrator for just $99 and choose $30 more of Free products for your Starter Kit. The kit ships for free! Since you normally get $125 of products, that makes it $155 of products for only $99. I would love to have you join my Jean's Paper Jewels Team. Contact me for more information. I am also offering my own incentive. Join my team during SAB, and choose one item from the Sale.A.Bration brochure.

The third way to take advantage of this promotion is to host. Just host a qualifying party during Sale.A.Bration and earn $25 more Stampin' Rewards. You can even apply your Stampin' Rewards toward your Starter Kit. Check out the SAB brochure for all the details.
