Sunday Stamps Color Challenge

While browsing around, I found a challenge blog that caught my eye. It's Sundaystamps. This week they have a color challenge using More Mustard, Night of Navy, and Sahara Sand. I kept it super simple. I still had my Janome sewing machine out so I stitched around the Very Vanilla mat. That also helped flatten it out since I used a watercolor technique on it. You're going to see a few more cards with a little stitching on them. It sure is easier to add stitching to MDS projects!
The More Mustard background was created with a few swipes of the Classic Ink Pad using the Aqua Painter. I haven't done this in a while, and had forgotten how easily one can add some great effects. The flower image is from Serene Silhouettes, and the sentiment is from the Lacy and Lovely Set.
Thank you for stopping by!

  3. Fabulous card, Jean. I haven't used that technique for a while, and it's so effective with this silhouette! Love the stitching too - you're right about it being easier with MDS! Thanks for joining us at Sunday Stamps this week - so glad you found us and I hope you join us again.
