Stampin' Trimmer Tip

Good day! It's another beautiful day here in the sunny Southwest. Although we don't get to see the Autumn glory in the changing leaves, we do get to enjoy marvelous weather.
I have another Jean's jewel, or tip for you today. I think our Stampin' Trimmer is one of the best of it's kind on the market. It's definitely designed with crafters in mind! To keep it in the best working shape, I brush out the groove in the cutting strip once in a while. It collects paper lint and fibers, and works much better after removal. I keep a paint brush on my work surface to brush away embossing powders, eraser dust, etc. It has stiff bristles and works beautifully for this purpose as well. You can also turn the cutting strip over. If you notice that it's gotten knicked up, it's time to replace it. I have had my cutter for 9 months, and the cutting strip is just fine still.  You get two replacement mats for $3.95. They can be found on page 176 of the catalog, and are item #131375. This little cutting mat can pop out of your trimmer, and get lost if you're not careful. There is a lock on the arm so that this can't happen.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day.
