FBW #126 & OCC Challenges

Hello everyone on this gorgeous Sunday morning. It's finally cooling off a bit, and feeling a bit more like Fall. Although as I sit here typing this post I have the door open and can hear Grackles chirping, and a Mockingbird singing.

I made this card for two challenges. Danni's Flutter By Wednesday Challenge asked for a Fall theme along with the required butterfly, faerie, or angel. Our Creative Corner (OCC), challenged us to use at least three embellishments. I have been wanting to try my hand at this ribbon technique for a long time. All you have to do is add Sticky Strip to your base, then pleat the ribbon on top of it. It was so easy, I don't know why I put it off for so long. Oh well, such as life. I'm off to start a roast in the Crock Pot, then to "play" some more. Thank you for stopping by!

OCCSC16 Punchy Bird

Hello there on this beautiful Sunday. This card was made for the weekly sketch challenge at Our Creative Corner. My little bluebird is made from a circle punch and the SU Scallop Circle Punch. I'm not sure who designed it originally, but it sure is cute. It was a pretty quick card to make. I've set a goal for myself of updating my blog at least three times per week, so I had to get busy today. I visit a lot of blogs that are updated daily...how in the world those gals do that, I'll never know. Many are my idols, and what I aspire for, so here's to all you super bloggers that we all enjoy visiting.
