April 2023 All The Little Things Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternates

Our April Paper Pumpkin Kit, All The Little Things, came with enough supplies to make 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. I made 3 cards as instructed, and came up with several alternative designs.

I made three more cards using the card bases, and supplies from the kit. I made the green base card into a Z-Fold by scoring the front at 2-3/4", and folding it backwards. I used a blender brush with Petal Pink Ink to soften the white card base a bit. I cut one of the leaves layers to add to that base. The little Adirondack Chair is from the For All Seasons Die set that is retired. 

I used my own Basic White Card Base, and made my first Split Lattice Card. It was so easy to do. I followed instructions from BB Cameron on her blog.

I used the new Little Monkeys Bundle for the next two cards. The stamp set has 3 monkeys, 3 sentiments, and 9 other coordinating stamps. The Punch cuts out a monkey, face, ears, and banana. I only used the punch for the bananas, and fussy cut the hanging monkeys. The punch coordinates with a different one in the set.

MARCH 2021 HERES TO YOU PAPER PUMPKIN KIT

Hello, and welcome! I created these two cards with the March 2021 Heres To You Paper Pumpkin Kit. It came with all the supplies to make 8 cards with matching envelopes. I made the two cards mostly as directed. I messed up the stamping inside the first card so I just stamped on a Basic White panel, and added it to the inside. I also added a strip of the envelope lining to the inside. I discovered that the lining could be cut down by 2 1/2", and still fit the envelope beautifully. This left a nice piece of paper to use on something else.

I made the second card into a graduation card instead of a birthday card, by adding the congratulations sentiment. I added a Pretty Peacock rectangle to the inside to hold money, a gift card, or a check. I also added a strip of the envelope liner to the inside.

July 2020 Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit

Hello, and welcome! Today I am sharing three of the four projects from my July 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Our kit came with supplies for 9 Postcards and Envelopes; Plus 9 Tealight Bags. There are always leftovers in addition to the fabulous stamp set, and Ink Spot that can be used over, and over again.

I made the Postcard above pretty much as directed, but changed the sentiment to one that I thought would be great to sent my bug loving Granddaughter.

I used a different Postcard design for the card above, and mounted it on a Blackberry Bliss card base. Since the corners of the Postcard are rounded, I also rounded the card base using the Detailed Trio Punch. Although you can't tell, I embossed the burst with Clear Embossing Powder. It makes a difference in the details. You can heat emboss over any of the Stampin' Up! Classic Ink colors if you pour the powder on right after you stamp the image.

My last project for now is one of the Tealight Bags. I made it exactly as directed. I added a little battery powered Tealight as it is paper so you really can not use a Tealight Candle. It's very cute! 

We already know that next month's kit is all about honoring our personal heroes. It will contain nine Gender Neutral standard size cards ( 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), specifically designed for celebrating life's champions. April 2020 My Wonderful Family Plus Alternate Card

Hello, and welcome! Our April 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit is here, and it is fabulous! I was so excited to see the Fancy Fold Card Bases.

The kit is titled My Wonderful Family, and has enough supplies to make 8 Full Size Cards. (5 1/2" x 4 1/4" when folded). The stamp set has family appreciation theme.

Here are two of the cards made as instructed.

I made a cute alternative design using the leaves stamp along with the extra sentiment strips, and butterfly die cut.

How cute is she?! I used a pretty strip of designer paper from the new Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper, the new Ornate Embossing Folder, and a piece of the coordinating Ornate Garden Ribbon in Terracotta Tile. I really like the stamp sentiment from the April kit!

February 2020 Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin Kit Plus Alternate Projects

The February 2020 Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin Kit came with enough supplies to make 9 cards. The cards like the name are truly lovely. I made some of the cards as instructed, then designed a couple of my own.



This Paper Pumpkin kit coordinates with the Happy Birthday To You stamp set that is available FREE during Sale.A.Bration. You can get it with a $50 purchase from my online store. (Before tax & shipping).

I made one of the cards into a Shaker Card by adding a piece of Window Sheet behind the cut out image. Thank I added some Foam Adhesive Strips to the Cake Image to form the shaker part. I added some of the sequins that came with the kit along with some others I had. It made the card even more festive.

I made an Easel Card with another one of the card designs. I just added it to a Blackberry Bliss Base. The front of the card is layered on half of one of the cards that came in the kit. I made the image layer as instructed, but used the "Have a lovely birthday", on the front. The little butterfly is Vellum punched out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. I used the Leaf Punch for the Vellum Leaves, and mounted it on a Blushing Bride label cut using one of the Wild Rose Dies.

Paper Pumpkin subscribers will get two stamp sets next month because it's their 7th birthday! I will be celebrating it with a special Paper Pumpkin Party. More details are forthcoming.
