Memory Making Monday With December Paper Pumpkin

Hello, and welcome! It's 2016, and what better way to start the year than with my January scrapbook page already finished, and ready for photos.

Our December Paper Pumpkin Kit was the fabulous easel with calendar cards that I have pictured above. I put it together right away, just the way the instructions suggested. This set is one of my favorites. (Yes, I know how many times I've said that). The only problem was that I didn't need another calendar. The best thing about the calendar cards is that they measure 6 x 4. That is the standard pocket insert size for our Project Life divided pages. You could use the desk calendar, then slip in that month when it's over. Win - win.

I simply slipped January into the pocket, then made some more inserts to match. There is plenty of room for photos. I'm not sure about which pictures I will use yet, but these pocket inserts can be reversed, or slipped into other pockets. So versatile. I used the 2016 stamp and ink included in the kit to make the pocket card in the lower right hand corner. The white frame in the upper right hand corner is one of the negatives from the punched pieces.
