Picture 1 shows the only empty spot in our bonus room where I could add a table. The area on the left is my Big Shot station. Our computer desk is on the right.
Picture 2 shows my scrapbooking supplies that I would like to have all in one spot.
Picture 3 is my finished, designated scrapbooking area. I pulled two of the three drawer units from the Big Shot area that were in need of reorganizing anyway. I put embellishments, Project Life cards, photos, and other items that I wanted nearby in the drawers, and even have one empty drawer. I love the consolidation. I let go of a lot that I know I will never use. Feels good!
I have looked through my albums, and decided that the best direction for me to go is a combination of digital, and physical Project Life style scrapbooking. I'm sure I will want to create a traditional page now and then, but that's the beauty of this memory making process. Those traditional pages can be incorporated right into my 12 x 12 family album. It is the Black Faux Leather 12" x 12" pictured on page 145 in the current Stampin' Up! Catalog.
The next step in the process was to organize and prepare the space. I am lucky to have a wonderful craft room. It's pretty well organized for card making and paper crafting, but I didn't have a dedicated scrapbooking station. I think that will help me keep on top of my memory making goals better. I tend to be a scatterbrain when working on projects, and jump from one project to the next without completing them. I am sure this will help me stay on task better.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
