Hello, and welcome! I featured products from the Magnolia Lane Suite this week. I made the large flower using the Magnolia Memory Dies, and the Hot Air Balloon Punch. I cut them out of Shimmery White Card Stock, and used a Sponge Dauber to ink the middle. The flower parts are mounted on a 1- 1/2" Circle Punch then mounted on the largest die from the set that includes the flower, and the leaves. I made it following the Stampin' Up! Video that I posted on yesterday's post. The only thing I changed was adding one more of the Balloon Punches by using 6 instead of 5.
The bag is made from two 12" x 12" sheets of paper from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper Pack. The ribbon also coordinates with the suite, and is from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack. I found the instructions for the bag on You Tube by searching for large handmade gift bags. There are several there to choose from.
My second project is made from a Mini Shipping Box. I covered the Stampin' Up! Logo with a strip of Magnolia Lane Paper. The sentiment and flourish are from the stamp set, Good Morning Magnolia. I cut them out with a Stitched Rectangle Die, and added some Basic Rhinestones that I colored to match using a Petal Pink Stampin' Blend.
I am excited to announce that August is my birthday month, and my 10 year anniversary with Stampin' Up! To celebrate the occasions, I am giving away some great Blog Candy all month long. All you have to do is comment on this blog post or my Facebook post to be eligible to win. I will use a random generator to choose the winner on Monday, August 19th. The winning name will be announced Monday evening. Blog Candy #5 Give Away is a Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Be sure and visit all month long!
