Hello, and welcome. I have two cards that feature pretty products from the Tropical Oasis Suite. I have used pieces of Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper for the card bases. That way both sides of the paper are featured. I stamped the birthday sentiment using Early Espresso on a piece of Very Vanilla, and punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch. It is popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The card base is made from a 12" x 4" piece of designer paper. It's scored at 5 1/2", and 11". After folding it at the 5 1/2" line, you can either fold the 11" line inside or outside. I chose to fold mine inside both my cards.
The layer of Very Vanilla inside is 5 1/4" x 3 3/4". I stamped each of the inside layers with a stamp from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set, as well as each of the envelopes.
The strip of Soft Suede on the front is 4 1/2" x 1", and the layer on top is 4 1/4" x 3/4". I embossed the 3/4" layers with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.
The leaf, and flower on the second card are from die cuts from the Timeless Tropical Bundle. I stamped the pineapple, and Hello sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla, and punched it out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. It is layered onto a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies.
This is a great way to feature both sides of our pretty papers. I hope you'll give it a try.
