I created today's card with the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set. I used the Joseph's Coat Technique to create the focal image. I am starting a new technique series in January, and the Joseph's Coat Technique is the first one that I will premiere. There are many instructional video on Pinterest, and You Tube if you want to get started.
I used Shimmery White Card Stock for this layer, and just added the colors randomly using Sponge Daubers.
I heat embossed the images on this layer using VersaMark Ink with Clear Embossing Powder.
Next I covered the whole layer with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I just pushed the ink pad directly onto this layer. After it is covered, you use a paper towel, tissue, or rag to wipe it down. The embossed part resists the ink, and that's when the magic is revealed. Cut your panel down to the size you want, and create a card. It's a fun technique.
