I made this card following the parameters set from Craft Roulette, Episode #230 featuring Lea Lawson as the guest. You can see it on YouTube HERE. The largest die from the Countryside Corners Die Set was perfect to form the shaped card. I placed it on a folded piece of Pretty Peacock Card Stock just above the fold at the top so that it made a card base. I used Basic White for the next to largest die to make the focal, and inside layers.
The Inspiring Snapdragons Stamp Set has three sizes snapdragons, so I used the tallest one to fulfill the Tall parameter. I added Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, and Crushed Curry to the flower images using sponge daubers. The sentiment is gold embossed. The inside sentiments are from previous Paper Pumpkin kits. The card came out beautiful!
These were the parameters:
1. Project - Shaped Card
2. Colors - Peacock
3. Element - Tall
4. Random - XOXO
Craft Roulette airs every Friday evening at 6:10 Central Time on You Tube. You should check it out. It's a fun way to make us step outside our crafty boxes.
Video Tutorial: Follow this video to learn how to use the largest Countryside Corner Die to make a shape card. I also show how to get a nice watercolor effect on the floral images by inking up the stamps using sponge daubers.
