Hello, crafty friends! I had so much fun creating today's cheerful and textured cards using Pool Party and Gorgeous Grape Two-Toned Cardstock — and I’ve got great news: these beautiful papers will be 20% off July 9–11! 🎉
✂️ Card Details:
Each card started with a 5-1/4" x 4" panel of Two-Toned Cardstock, embossed using the stunning Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. To really bring out those embossed details, I lightly sanded the surface with a sanding block, revealing the white core of the cardstock — such a gorgeous, rustic touch!
These panels were then mounted onto standard A2 card bases using coordinating cardstock in Pool Party and Fresh Freesia. I love how the light and dark tones of the Two-Toned Cardstock add extra depth and dimension.
💬 Sentiments & Embellishments:
The bold “Hello” sentiment was die-cut using the brand-new Circle Of Seasons Paper Pumpkin Add-On Die Set (item #167277, $12). The Birthday sentiment came from the Greetings for All Ephemera Pack, which I colored using a Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend to perfectly match the tones in the card.
To finish off the look, I added three adorable Brushed Brass Butterflies for just the right amount of shimmer and charm. 🦋
