Pooh & Friends Z-Fold Card

I’m having so much fun creating cards with the Silly Old Bear Suite of products, and this Z-Fold card is one of the projects we’ll be making in my next live card making class!

The Silly Old Bear products can be found in the Online Exclusives section of my Stampin’ Up! store, and they make it so easy to create adorable Pooh and Friends cards.

Creating the Z-Fold

The card base is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Early Espresso Cardstock, scored at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4".

For the front left panel, I used Golden Glow Two-Tone Cardstock, measuring 5 1/4" x 2 3/4". I embossed it with the 100 Acre Woods Embossing Folder and then lightly sanded the raised areas with a buffer. Because the Two-Tone Cardstock has a white core, sanding reveals the lighter color and really makes the embossed design stand out!

The inside panel is Very Vanilla Cardstock, also measuring 5 1/4" x 2 3/4". I added a strip of Designer Series Paper across the top measuring 5 1/4" x 1", along with a coordinating strip of Golden Glow Gingham Gallery DSP on the right side.

Adding a Little Glow

The Vanilla label on the front has a little extra sparkle thanks to the Golden Glow Shimmer Brush. I thinned the shimmer slightly with Vegetable Glycerin, which makes the effect much more subtle while still giving the label a beautiful, warm glow.

For the focal point, I die cut Pooh and Piglet directly from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A piece of Mossy Meadow Gingham Ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch.

And the best part? We’ll be making two Pooh and Friends cards at my class! 🐻🍯
