It’s time for another FUNN Craft Roulette card! This week, Craft Roulette Episode 340 featured guest Michelle Lupton from Australia, and the parameters inspired me to create a cozy Christmas scene with three adorable critters enjoying their holiday vacation.
One fun thing Michelle reminded us of is that in Australia, they call a vacation a holiday. That made the sentiment on my card, “Wishing you a cozy holiday,” especially fitting!
My Craft Roulette #340 Card
I created a 5" x 7" Christmas card featuring three critters lined up together, enjoying what I imagine is a relaxing Christmas vacation. The pastel rainbow colors in the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper give the card a soft, cheerful look that I love.
I used stamps from two sets I recently picked up at a crafty garage sale: Frosty Days and You Warm My Heart. Both stamp sets are from Close to My Heart, a company that Stampin’ Up! acquired a couple of years ago. It was fun to give these new-to-me stamps some crafty love!
To finish the card, I added three embellishments in a row in the bottom right corner. They were the perfect way to complete the design and meet this week’s random parameter.
This was such a FUNN card to make! And yes, we spell FUN with two N’s around here—the Craft Roulette way!
Craft Roulette Episode 340 Parameters
Here’s how my card fits this week’s four parameters:
- Project – A7: I made a 5" x 7" card.
- Colors – Rainbow: The Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper features pastel rainbow colors.
- Element – Vacation: My three critters are enjoying a cozy Christmas vacation!
- Random – Three In A Row: I have three critters in a row, plus three embellishments lined up in the bottom right corner.
I always enjoy seeing how the wheel’s parameters inspire a card. Sometimes the combinations take me in a direction I might not have thought of on my own!
