It's time to get a head start on Christmas cards! 🎄 For this project, I made eight Christmas cards using the October 2026 Sheetload of Cards by Crafty Al. I love how a single sheet of Designer Series Paper can go a long way when you follow a great layout!
Crafty Al uploads a new Sheetload of Cards on the first of every month on her YouTube channel, Call Me Crafty Al. Each month's design includes a sketch and a cutting guide to help you create multiple cards efficiently. Best of all, you can get the printable instructions for free by watching her video and following the directions. I'll leave the measurements to Crafty Al so you can download her original instructions and follow along.
My October Sheetload Christmas Cards
For my eight cards, I chose traditional Christmas colors and festive patterned paper. The design was a fun way to use my Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper and create a coordinating set of holiday cards.
Here are the supplies I used:
Card bases: Thick Basic White cardstock, cut to A2 size
Patterned paper: Strips of Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper
Mat layer: Cherry Cobbler Two Tone Cardstock
Sentiment circle: Basic White cardstock punched with a 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Ribbed circle layer: Spotlight on Nature Dies
Sentiment stamp: Holly Jolly stamp set (retired), stamped in Poppy Parade ink
Embellishments: Holly embellishments purchased from Amazon
I love how the Cherry Cobbler mat adds a rich pop of Christmas color, while the white circles keep the sentiment easy to read. The ribbed circle adds a little extra texture, and the holly embellishments provide the perfect finishing touch.
Making eight cards from one layout is a great way to build up your Christmas card stash without designing each card from scratch. You could also change the patterned paper, sentiment, or embellishments to give the same layout a completely different look!
