 Back to School Card for My Grandson’s First Day of Kindergarten 🎒🍎

It’s hard to believe my sweet grandson is starting Kindergarten! Of course, I had to mark the occasion with a little handmade card to tuck into his backpack. A quick card can still be meaningful, and this one came together in no time.

✨ The Card Base
I used one of the Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes (Item #159232). These come in a pack of 20 card bases with 20 envelopes for just $10. At 5" x 3 ½", they’re the perfect size for a little “happy mail” note.

✨ The Layers & Details

• I added a white die-cut panel using the Textured Notes Dies, which fit perfectly on the card front.

• From the Choose Happy Stamp Set, I stamped the sweetest little apples, then brought them to life with Stampin’ Blends.

• The bold letter B (for “back to school” and also my grandson’s name!) was cut from the Party Alphabet Dies in Blueberry Bushel cardstock. I love how large and playful these letters are—perfect for kids’ projects.

CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Inspiration

This design was inspired by CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch #514. I love using this Facebook group because they include actual measurements with each sketch, making it easy to recreate and adapt to your favorite Stampin’ Up! products.

Design Details:

• Designer Series Paper: The pears and flowers are fussy-cut directly from the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper. They provide such a soft, organic look and make a stunning focal point.

• Spotlight on Nature Dies: The pear cluster is mounted on a Basic White circle cut with one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

• 2 3/8" Circle Punch: I layered the die cut on a piece of Petal Pink punched with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch to add warmth and contrast.

• Perfectly Pears Dies: The sweet little “Hello” sentiment fits perfectly on the smallest die in the Perfectly Pears Die Set—such a thoughtful detail.

• Embossing: I used a small strip of Darling Duckling cardstock embossed with the Corrugated Embossing Folderto add texture and dimension.

• Finishing Touches: Three Low Profile Glimmer Gems add just the right amount of sparkle, and I finished the envelope with a matching strip of the Designer Series Paper.

ROOTED IN NATURE #SIMPLESTAMPING

 Hello, and welcome. I used the wonderful Rooted In Nature Stamp Set to create these cards. They are truly Sweet, and Simple. 

Each month Stampin' Up! issues a challenge for us demonstrators to use minimal supplies to create cards that are quick, and easy. This month we could use stamps, ink, paper, and embellishments. I used our Whisper White Notecards, and Envelopes as my base so these were ready in no time. I used my favorite hues of green for the images, and Night of Navy for the sentiments. I added three of the white gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems pack to each card. They came out lovely! Try some #simplestamping for yourself, and you will have some great cards ready to mail or to add to your stash.

Dressed To Impress Notecard Set With Holder

Hello, and welcome! Today I have a set of four notecards using some fabulous products from the Best Dressed Suite. These notecards were designed by a Canadian Stampin' Up! demonstrator named Ange McKay.  The Dressed To Impress Bundle is carrying over into the new catalog, but the Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper is retiring. I made a matching notecard holder with a piece of Lovely Lipstick Card Stock. That is one of the In Colors that is retiring as well. Products that are retiring are only available while supplies last so don't miss out.



The card bases are from the Whisper White Note Cards set that also come with envelopes. Each one has a layer of card stock measuring 3 1/4" x 4 3/4". The piece of Best Dressed paper measures 3 1/8" x 4 5/8". The sentiments are stamped on one of the Stitched Shapes Circles Dies with the images colored with Stampin' Blends.



I found the notecard holder on You Tube. It is the Note Card Gift Set by Chris Slogar. The sentiment is from the Meant To Be Stamp Set, and is on one of the Sweetly Stitched Dies. I embellished it with some Glitter Enamel Dots. The front panel is embossed with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. This set makes a great gift!

Witty-Cisms Note Cards

Hello, and welcome! I used the Scalloped Note Cards & Envelopes along with a little strip of paper from a piece of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper for these cards. I stamped the image from the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set using Memento Ink, punched them out with the Label Me Lovely Punch, then I colored them with Watercolor Pencils. You can use these pencils as is, or combine them with the Aquapainter brush as I did. I plan on doing a video on that real soon so stay tuned.

I added a piece of the Braided Burlap Trim on top of a coordinating color of card stock cut from one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Each image is raised on Stampin' Dimensionals. They are real cute!
