Happy Memorial Day weekend. Summer is just around the corner. The sweet girls at A La Card Monkey asked me to be a guest designer for this week's Monkey 110 - Sky's the Limit + Sketch. I chose to make a graduation card for a young lady that knows no limits. She's Valedictorian of her class, and an all around beauty, inside and out. Congratulations Courtney!
The card base is one of the upcoming new In Color's by Stampin Up called Midnight Muse. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that their newly designed ink pads are so juicy and easy to work with that I was able to add clear embossing powder to the sentiment. I used stamps from The Open Sea, and Word Play. The butterfly is from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit, cut with Brushed Gold Card Stock. The leaves are from the Little Leaves Sizzlet, and the patterned paper came from the Brights Paper Pad. The bling is Recollections. I hope you'll take the opportunity to play along with this week's challenge. Just click on one of the cute monkey's on my right sidebar to take you there.
Thank you very much for stopping by!
