Bow Clips

I finally took the time to make the cute bow clips that are pictured on page 152. They've been catching my eye ever since I saw the new catalog for the first time. They're pretty easy to do, and take just snippets of paper, a few glue dots, and the jumbo paper clips. To make one you start by dove tailing both ends of a piece of DSP that is 3 X 1/2. You can do that by hand or by using a square punch. You need two pieces of DSP that are 2-1/8 X 1/2 for the bow part. Just add one glue dot and attach end to end. Attach a jumbo paper clip in the center of the back of the dove tailed piece using one glue dot. Add two glue dots to both ends of each bow part. Line them up with the prongs of the paper clip and attach on the front. This leaves about 1/4 inch in the middle. Snip in the four parts of the middle just 1/8 inch to fold around the paper clip. The last piece is 1-1/4 X 1/4. Attach it to the middle front with one glue dot, fold around the back, add a couple more glue dots. Snip off the excess, and you're done. Easy peasy! If you need additional instructions, or have a question, please let me know.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day.
