Watercolor Wash Card
The beautiful color background on this card was made using ink refills on our Watercolor Paper. It is really pretty, and very unique. Each card comes out different.
First you spritz the watercolor mat with a bit of water. Put a couple of drops of ink refills into a palette of some kind. You can use a styrofoam plate, wax paper, or aluminum foil. I used three colors for this card: Soft Sky, Pink Pirouette, and Wisteria Wonder. Wet your brush, dip it into a color and brush away. Clean your brush between colors. Make it as dark or light as you would like...you be the artist.
I adhered the hello die cut using our Adhesive Transfer Sheets. It's so much neater than using glue. The butterfly is simply attached with glue dots on the body only so she can float freely above the card.
I hope you will try this marvelous technique for yourself. It's so fun and artsy. Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great weekend.
