Paper Weaving Just Because Card

I have been wanting to try my hand at paper weaving for quite a while. Nothing crazy complicated for me that's for sure. It's also a great way to use up those beautiful designer paper scraps I've been hoarding, saving I mean. These strips measured 3/4" by 6, and came from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack. They were trimmed length wise after I placed them where I wanted. To get started place two strips in the middle in a "T" formation. I used a little bit of Snail Adhesive just in the middle. Next I placed the two outside vertical pieces over the top of the "T", again using very little Snail. I then slipped the top horizontal strip under the top of the middle portion of the "T". I did the same thing for the bottom horizontal strip. I used a bit of Snail on each strip where they crisscrossed, then added a bit to the ends to secure the pieces.

This is a great all purpose card. It can be made vertical like mine, or horizontal. Any sentiment that fits can be used. I used the Just Because from our Tin of Cards Stamp Set. It's one of my favorites.

Try one of these cards for yourself. It takes a bit more time, but it's totally worth it!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day.
