Halloween Night Paper Wreath

Hello, and welcome. I started this paper wreath last weekend. It is made up of 1/2" X 12" paper strips cut from our Halloween Night Designer Series Paper Pack. I also added a few 1/2" X 6 strips from the retired Go Wild Paper Pack to fill in a few holes. I almost gave up about 1/3 of the way through because the paper curls weren't staying secured to the wreath. I was using the wrong kind of pins. They were 1/2" Applique Pins. I was trying to glue them, and it was just a mess. I ended up buying regular length pins, and it started working beautifully. I would also suggest using a different type base. Mine was styrofoam, but had over 1-1/2" of the flat border around it. I ended up just covering that part with ribbon. In the future I will use the more rounded, smooth foam circle. The cute bat, and boo sign were on sale for 70% off at my local AC Moore Store. You can't beat that. It turned out real cute, and I'm glad I finished it.

Don't forget about our Designer Series Paper Sale. Buy three of the sale packs, and receive one FREE. The sale runs through October 31.
