Stampin' Up! Boo Banner

Hello, and welcome! I live near Raleigh, NC, so we're getting hammered with rain, and wind from Hurricane Matthew. Nothing serious for us, thank goodness. I hope wherever you're visiting from stays free from harm. It's a good day for me to stay put here in my craft room at home.

The idea for this cute banner came from Pinterest. I saw a post from LeAnne Greff, and made my own design from her inspiration. I made mine a little smaller than she did. The folded base is a piece of Crushed Curry cut at 4" X11". It is scored every 2-3/4". The top is cut with the largest die from our Lots of Labels Framelit Set. It has to be run through the Big Shot 3 or four times to cut completely through. I used a Sponge Dauber to ink the edges with our Archival Basic Black Ink Pad. The Halloween Night Designer Series Paper pieces were cut with the next size down framelit from the same set. I cut off one side on the bottom to make it straight.

I used the festive Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper for the word boo. The die set I used is retired. (Bigz Alphabet Simple Letters). We have a fantastic new die set called Large Letter Framelits, but I don't have those...yet, lol.

The cute characters from Cookie Cutter Halloween were perfect for this project. Just a little coloring, and they come to life. I've listed the rest of the supplies below.

Thanks for joining me today! Stay safe.
