I bought the LOVE sign at Dollar Tree a few weeks back, and have had it hanging as it was until today. I had just finished making 20 Valentine Treat Bags with my January Paper Pumpkin Kit when it dawned on me that the leftovers would be real cute on this sign. Well they certainly are! My #dollarstorehack was a success.
I added four of the die cut hearts on Stampin' Dimensionals, as well as five of the sweet little bee die cuts. I stamped the Bee Mine sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White, banner cut each end, and added it on top of the second heart down. I also added a few of the cute flower sequins that came with the kit here, and there. I used our Wink of Stella to add sparkle to the bees wings. To finish it off, I tied several ribbon pieces to the existing hanger. It is truly cute, and didn't take too much time or money.
Our January Kit included enough supplies to make 20 Treat Bags, and 10, 3" x 3" cards with matching envelopes. We usually have leftovers, and that's what I used for my LOVE sign.
I made most of the bags as intended, but added my own little touch to a few to make them my own. All I added was a Bee Mine sentiment by stamping it on some bright note paper I had, and cutting it out by hand. They all turned out real cute!
