Memory Making Monday - Joy of Journaling

One of the many perks I get as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is a quarterly magazine called Stampin' Success. It is full of beautiful samples, and great ideas. The current issue has a great article on journaling that had some great tips to share. The pages above show one person's style of journaling. We all know how important it is to record the events, and dates, but sometimes it's easier said than done. This is what they suggested:

Practice. Write what you want to say on a piece of scrap paper before writing directly on your project. Then you know how much space you'll need.

Write in a letter style. Sometimes it's easier to know what to write when you imagine that you are writing to someone.

Review your social media posts. Feel free to use them for your journaling. They can provide valuable in-the-moment perspective to your journaling.

Include other view points. Hand over your pen to other people who appear in your photos. Let them share their point of view.

These are excellent tips! I hope they help you with your memory keeping.
