My July Paper Pumpkin kit arrived last Friday, the 15th. I love the stamp set! It's right up my Jean's Paper Jewels alley. The kit contains supplies for 8 treat boxes and 8 tags. I usually make the instructed projects first, but didn't really want to start with the boxes. I have quite a few birthdays coming up so I started with a card. I stamped the little jewels included in the stamp set using VersaMark, and embossed them with clear embossing powder. I cut one of the tags in half, and stamped the sentiment with Memento Ink. The set also came with plenty of the Flirty Flamingo Twine, so I made a mini tassle for the side. I used Flirty Flamingo for the card base, and a piece of Smokey Slate for the mat. The Iced Rhinestone Embellishment is retired. It covers a pre-punched hole in the tag. This was a fun card to make, and only the beginning for my July Paper Pumpkin Kit.
i took advantage of the sale on paper pumpkin and boy am i glad i did. what great surprises each month. this is fabulous. i love that you didn't make a "box". i may steal this idea!
