Today's card features a piece of the beautiful Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. This paper can pretty much stand on it's own. I did stamp, and cut out one of the small flowers from the matching Free As A Bird Stamp Set. It's on the top left hand corner of the 2nd to smallest Stitched Nested Labels Dies. The sentiment is from one of my all time favorite sets called Itty Bitty Greetings. I added a small piece of our 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim, along with a leaf punched out from a piece of the lovely Old Olive Vellum from Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock.
I colored the small blossom with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend. In the picture above you can also see the pretty tiny Pearl Basic Jewels that I added to the center of a few of the blossoms. I colored them with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend as well.
Directions To Create Today's Card
• Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", then score, and fold in half at 4 1/4".
• Cut a piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series paper 4 7/8" x 3 5/8".
• Cut a piece of Basic Black Card Stock 5 1/8" x 3 7/8". Adhere the Designer paper to this layer, then
to the front of the card.
• Stamp the smallest blossom from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Memento Ink onto a small scrap
of Whisper White. Color the middle with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend, then cut it out
by hand. Set aside.
• Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of Bermuda Bay, then cut out with the 2nd to smallest Nested
Label Die. Set aside.
• Add a 3" piece of the Scalloped Lace Trim to right hand side of label. Punch a leaf out of the Old
Olive Vellum using the Leaf Punch, then glue to the very back of the label. Add Stampin'
Dimensionals to the label, and add to the front of the card. Pop the small blossom on a Dimensional
and add to the upper left hand side of label.
• Color the desired amount of Pearl Basic Jewels with the Dark Daffodil Delight Blend, then add to
the card.
• I stamped the envelope with the leaf from the stamp set on the envelope, and again to a piece of
Whisper White for the inside of the card.
