It's Independence Day here in the United States. Happy 4th of July to all my US crafty friends!
The background for today's card was made using one of the dies from the Patchwork Pieces Die Set. This two piece die set is easily overlooked as they are stand alone dies. The dies both have wonderful stitched details. The sentiment, and die cut stars are from the Beautiful Balloons Bundle.

You’ll love the creative fun you can have with these Patchwork Pieces Dies! Quickly and easily die-cut unique shapes you can arrange in multiple ways for a variety of contemporary looks. Try cutting the images from different shades of paper, then piece them together for a colorful, custom-made look they’ll love. What custom looks will you make with these playful dies?
The rectangle die has a tiny circle in the middle that keeps the pieces together. Just tear them away if you want them detached. I cut it out three times using different colors of card stock - Real Red, Basic White, and Night of Navy. Starting in the left corner of the Real Red, and alternating pieces of the Basic White, and Night of Navy, I glued each piece to a piece of Basic White measuring 5" x 3 1/2". It came out crooked, so I just trimmed away the base, and added it straight to another piece of 5" x 3 1/2" of Basic White. The next layer is Night of Navy. It is mounted on an A2 Card Base of Thick Whisper White. It didn't take as long as I expected it to. I have enough pieces left to make two more cards.
Thank you for joining me today! Have a wonderful, safe holiday!
