I’m so excited to share the card I created during a super fun Mystery Stamping Zoom with my Stampin’ Up! team this past Monday night. These virtual events are always such a blast! We’re given a supply list ahead of time, then follow a series of “clues” during the event to assemble our cards. The best part? Seeing how uniquely everyone interprets the clues—it’s amazing how different our cards turn out even though we all start with the same directions.
✨ Here’s the card I made:
This time the “mystery” project turned out to be a Spanner Card—one of my favorite fun folds! I’ve created a few of these before, but it’s always fun to revisit. If you’d like to try one yourself, there’s a wonderful tutorial available on Splitcoast Stampers [HERE].
Products Used:
Designer Series Paper: Floral Charm DSP – while the pack is mostly florals, this leafy design and color combo gave me beautiful Fall vibes.
Cardstock Base: Blueberry Bushel – a bold, perfect match to pull it all together.
Dies: Love of Spring Add-On Paper Pumpkin Dies (for the leaves), Stylish Shapes Dies.
Sentiment: From the September Fall For Toille Paper Pumpkin kit, stamped in Blueberry Bushel and Timid Tiger inks.
Embossing: The Blueberry Bushel strip (5 1/2" x 1 1/2") across the front is embossed with the Gathering Leaves folder for extra texture.
🍂 I just love how it turned out!
We hold these Mystery Stamping events once a month, and they are always so much fun. Right now, Stampin’ Up! has such a great Starter Kit special during October. It’s the perfect time to join in on team events like this while getting products you love at a discount. Creating is even better when we do it together!
