The theme for this month’s Sending Sunshine Instagram Hop was all about creating something bright and cheerful—and this card certainly fits the bill! I reached for some of my favorite sunny colors and simple stamping to create a card that is sure to bring a smile to the recipient.
The star of the background is the vibrant Daffodil Delight floral pattern from the Brights 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack. The bold yellow florals immediately set a happy tone for the card and perfectly match the sunshine theme of the hop.
For the focal image, I used the Round Of Hellos Stamp Set. The flower is stamped in soft Lemon Lolly, while the stem is stamped in fresh Granny Apple Green. This simple color combination keeps the card light, bright, and cheerful.
If you look closely at the flower, you’ll notice a bit of sparkle. I brushed the petals with one of my absolute favorite finishing touches—Wink Of Stella. It adds just the right amount of shimmer and really brings the flower to life.
This quick and happy design is perfect for sending a little sunshine through the mail. Cards like this are a wonderful way to brighten someone’s day and let them know you’re thinking of them.
