Birthday Cards

I made two cards for today's post. I duplicated everything except the people in the truck window. One is for my husband and the other for our daughter's boyfriend. They are 5 1/2" square cards using a sketch from one of Jody's projects from a class I took with her last year. I've used it several times, and I know I probably will use it several more. I was so pleased with these cards until I attempted to color in a "road". That was one of the last things I did, and I was sorry for it. In the end I just decided to stop because it was only getting worse...don't you hate it when that happens.

I was especially happy with the DSP from Stampin' Up! It is called Muirfield, and can still be found in the Clearance Rack on my site. It is item #112466, and only costs $4.49 per pack. It's very masculine so I plan on ordering more. Clearance rack items are only sold until supplies last. I will be placing an order tomorrow if anyone wants in on it. Just e-mail me, please. The stamps I used are more of my favorites. They've just about paid for themselves because I've used them several times. They are: SU Loads of Love, and SU Loads of Love Accessories.

Right now it's an absolutely beautiful day, but I heard we're in for a cold front tomorrow. Oh well, I guess I'll have to hunker in and craft all day ;)
