SLIMLINE CARD ENVELOPE

Hello, and welcome! I made a matching envelope for the Slimline Card I posted about HERE. I used one of the woodgrain papers from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack.

To make this envelope, start with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock, or paper of your choice. Score the Portrait, or short side at 2 1/2", and 6 1/2". Score the Landscape, or long side at 1 1/2", and 10 1/2". Cut away the four small corner pieces. I also rounded the corners of the top. Attach the sides first, then the bottom. This is what your piece will look like. The envelope is roomy enough for an even bigger Slimline card. Decorate it if desired. I added the small Sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set in Bumblebee Ink.

If you don't want to make an envelope, these long Slimline Cards will fit in a standard long envelope.

This was my first Slimline Card, but it certainly won't be my last. I hope you will give them a try.
