Hello, and welcome! Today I am sharing my first Slimline Card. I have seen them everywhere lately, and finally took the plunge. I really like that they allow you to use more of your supplies and create a longer scene than a standard card. They measure 3 1/2" x 8 1/2", and will fit in a standard slimline envelope.

I used the new Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. I stamped them in Cinnamon Cider, then colored the images with our Watercolor Pencils. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow.

I finished off the front by adding a Misty Moonlight Butterfly, that I stamped with the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set. I punched it out with the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch. I added a piece of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon to the corner along with a bow tied with Linen Thread. You can't see them very well, but I added three Elegant Faceted Gems to the front as well. I stamped the smaller sunflower image on the inside using Bumblebee Ink so now it's good to go. Try a Slimline Card for yourself! They are fun to make.
