Whale Of A Time Shaker Card

I am so enjoying all the products in the Whale Of A Time Suite. I have used most of the products from the collection for today's Shaker Card. You can order the products individually, but why not get the whole suite. It's a great price for $65.50, plus Stampin' Up! Bonus Days are going on right now. You get a $5 coupon for every $50 purchase in July, (before tax, and shipping). You then get to use that coupon in September.

Although you can't see it in the picture, I spritzed the embossed panel with the Frost White Shimmer Paint. All you have to do is add some alcohol to the barrel of a spritzer, then add about 4 drops of the Shimmer Paint. Shake well every time. Be sure, and protect your surface as droplets get all over the place. Hold the spritzer high above the project, and add as desired. It dries fairly quickly because it contains alcohol. It leaves a fabulous shimmer on your projects.

To make a shaker card, I cut out a circle from the embossed layer using a Layering Circle Die. I added a square of Window Sheet, and attached it to the back. I added pieces of Foam Adhesive Strips to the back part of the circle, then sprinkled some sequins inside. I covered up the circle with a square piece of the Whale Of A Time Designer Paper. I added more Adhesive Strips to the bottom, and layered it on a piece of Blackberry Bliss. There are all kinds of videos on how to make Shaker Cards on Pinterest, You Tube, and Splitcoast Stampers, and they really aren't that hard to make.
