Hello, and welcome. I created this card using the cute Nuts About Squirrels stamp set along with pieces of designer paper from the Beauty Of The Earth Pack. I followed the parameters set from a weekly episode of Craft Roulette on You Tube that required the following:
1. Lil' Chubby (4" x 8" slimline card base)
2. Warm Colors
3. It's A Sign
4. Crumpled Paper
The Thick Whisper White Card Base is an 8" x 8" piece scored in half at 4". Layer one is a piece of Misty Moonlight Card Stock that measures 7 3/4" x 3 3/4". The designer series paper is 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" with another piece that I crumpled to meet the parameters that measures 7 1/2" x 1". I crumpled a piece of wax paper, and pounced it in an ink pad to add to the sign. This technique was started by Mary Gunn on Craft Roulette. She calls it Crinkle Inkle. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of woodgrain from the Tasteful Textiles pack, and cut the sides to look like a sign. I added Stampin' Dimensionals to all the images to make them pop. It was a fun card to make. I think I'm going to give it to my husband for his birthday because he is so annoyed by squirrels, lol.
