Card Chaos Episode 17 – Spooky Dutch Door Card Plus FREE Shipping Coming

Today’s card was created for Card Chaos, Episode 17, where the guideline was Spooky! I decided to make my last Halloween card of the year—and yes, it’s another Dutch Door Card (I just can’t get enough of this fun fold!). You can find the measurements on yesterday’s blog post if you’d like to give it a try.

All of the paper, tags, and punch-outs came from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper Pack. I layered them onto a 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Basic Black, which I embossed with the Plaster Painting Embossing Folder for that perfectly eerie texture. The “Spooky” sentiment is from the Spooky Halloween stamp set, and I added two creepy spiders from a past Paper Pumpkin kit for just the right amount of Halloween creepiness.

To finish it off, I sprinkled on a few Shimmer Star Foam Stickers—they catch the light beautifully and add the perfect touch of sparkle. ✨

All of these products are still available in the Online Exclusives section of my Stampin’ Up! Online Store. While it’s a bit late to order for this Halloween, I highly recommend grabbing them now so you’ll be all set for next year’s spooky season.

🎃 Bonus Tip: Stampin’ Up! is offering FREE Shipping on orders of $75 or more (before tax and Stampin’ Rewards) for three days only—October 22, 23, and 24!

Don’t miss out on this great time to stock up on paper, ink, and all your crafting favorites!

Craft Roulette Episode 289 – Dutch Door Halloween Card 🎃

This week’s Craft Roulette Challenge (#289) was such a fun one! The parameters were:

For my card, I started with a Petunia Pop card base (8 ½” x 11”), folded at 4 ¼” just like a standard A2 card. To create the Dutch Door Fold, I trimmed the front panel at 2 ¾” and cut up the fold to remove the top section.

On the lower flap, I added a house image from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper Pack, layered on a Basic Blackpiece measuring 4 3/8” x 3 ½”. The cute die cuts and sentiment inside are all from the Spooky Sweet Bundle.

To finish it off, I stamped the adorable cat on the envelope in Petunia Pop—the perfect final touch!

This was such a fun card to make, and I loved how all the parameters came together.
If you haven’t watched Craft Roulette, tune in Friday evenings at 6:10pm Central on YouTube—it’s always a creative adventure, and you never know what the wheel will bring!

Meandering Meadows Dutch Fold Card For Craft Roulette Episode #222

I made this card following the parameters set from Craft Roulette, Episode #222 featuring Chelsea Comer as the guest. You can see it on YouTube HERE. It's a Dutch Door Card. To make one, just cut a section of the card away so that there is a flap left. I used products from the Meandering Meadows Bundle that is found in the Online Exclusive section of my Online Store.

These were the parameters:

    1. Project - Dutch Door Card

    2. Colors - Gnomes

    3. Element - Movie

    4. Random - Building Blocks

Click HERE to see how I followed the parameters.

Craft Roulette airs every Friday evening at 6:10 Central Time on You Tube. You should check it out. It's a fun way to make us step outside our crafty boxes.
