Happy Birthday, Dragonfly Dreams Polished Stone Cards

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing the last two cards using the Polished Stone Technique I demonstrated last week for my Watch Me Wednesday Facebook Live Event. You can view the videos anytime HERE. I am showing a new technique every other Wednesday. The next one is scheduled for August 23.

I used our Happy Birthday Thinlet for the Emerald Envy card. The background looked a bit like Camo to me so I made it into a masculine card. I used our Copper Foil to cut the Happy Birthday. I also cut one out of Emerald Envy, and offset the Copper one on top to make it more dimensional. It's a nice combination with the Emerald Envy, and Pumpkin Pie.

Peekaboo Peach worked beautifully with the second card. The sentiment and bee are from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set, and the little flower sprigs are from Daisy Delight. I have the Basic Black card layer embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.

Dragonfly Dreams, Crafting Forever Polished Stone Cards

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing two more cards using the Polished Stone Technique I demonstrated last week for my Watch Me Wednesday Facebook Live Event. I have two more cards to show you this coming Wednesday, August 16th. You can view the videos anytime HERE. I am showing a new technique every other Wednesday. The next one is scheduled for August 23.

Both cards use a minimum amount of supplies. After making several Polished Stone card layers, I selected which stamp sets to use. Dragonfly Dreams, and Crafting Forever made the cut for these cards. I simply stamped the sentiments, and images using Memento Ink. The pretty black rhinestones on the Dragonfly card will be available when our Holiday Catalog goes live September 1, 2017.
