Craft Roulette Episode 334 – An ATC Takes Center Stage!

It’s time for another Craft Roulette challenge! For Episode 334, one of the parameters was Include an ATC (Artist Trading Card), and I decided to make the ATC the focal point of my A2 card.

If you’re not familiar with ATCs, they measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"—the perfect little canvas for a creative scene. I used the adorable Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper to create mine.

The ATC

I started by cutting one of the panels from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper to 2 1/4" x 3 1/4". I layered it onto a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of Hydrangea Hue cardstock, creating my ATC.

Winnie the Pooh is sitting happily on a tree branch, which worked perfectly for another one of our Craft Roulette parameters: Trees!

I also fussy-cut Tigger, Eeyore, and the honey jars from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper using the coordinating Sweet Old Friends Dies. These little pieces add even more personality to the card.

Putting the Card Together

My A2 card base is Mossy Meadow.

For the next layer, I cut a piece of Golden Glow cardstock to 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" and embossed it with the Hundred Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder. The texture adds a fun woodland feel behind the ATC.

I added 5 1/4" x 1" strips as additional layers to help frame the focal point.

The sentiment comes from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies.

Craft Roulette Parameters

Here’s how my card came together using the four Episode 334 parameters:

Project – Include an ATC:
The 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" ATC became the focal point of my A2 card.

Colors – Produce Aisle:
The colors in the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper reminded me of the produce aisle—carrots, green beans, eggplant, and ginger root.

Element – Tree(s):
Winnie is sitting on a tree branch, so this one was a natural fit!

Random – Use 3 Circles:
I added three Hydrangea Hue In Color Dots for my three circles.

I love how all four parameters came together to create a playful Winnie the Pooh-themed card!

Diorama Card with Sweet Old Friends

I had so much fun creating this sweet diorama card featuring the adorable characters from the Sweet Old Friends Bundle! I followed the diorama card tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers, but simplified the design a bit. Instead of adding as many layers as the tutorial shows, I stuck with just the front and back, which gives the card plenty of dimension while keeping it clean and simple. See that tutorial HERE.

For the window, I used the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the opening. Behind the window, I added a piece of Hydrangea Hue Cardstock embossed with the 100 Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder. I then used a Blender Brush to add more Hydrangea Hue ink over the embossed cardstock, bringing out the details and giving the background some extra depth.

The adorable characters from the Sweet Old Friends Bundle were stamped, colored with Stampin’ Blends, and layered around the scene. I especially love how they peek around the circular opening!

For the outside of the card, I used the Barely Blush from Gingham Gallery 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Sweet Words & Labels Bundle and was the perfect finishing touch for this card.

The Silly Old Bear products are part of the Online Exclusives collection in my Online Store. If you love these nostalgic little characters as much as I do, be sure to check them out!

I love how this card folds flat for mailing but opens into a dimensional little scene. It's such a fun way to make a handmade card feel extra special without making the construction overly complicated.

Happy stamping!

Craft Roulette Episode 332 – A Country Card with a Little Pooh Magic

Craft Roulette is always a fun challenge because you never quite know where the creative journey will take you! For Episode 332, the project was a Square Card, and I created a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card featuring some adorable friends from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper.

This week's parameters were Project – Square Card, Colors – Excited, Element – Country, and Random – Frame(s).Here's how I interpreted them!

The Colors – Excited!

The colors for this challenge were Hydrangea Hue, Golden Glow, and Mossy Meadow. These colors immediately made me think of my favorite season—Fall! There is something about those rich, beautiful colors together that feels exciting to me.

I started with a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock measuring 8 1/2" x 4 1/4", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4".

For the next layer, I used Hydrangea Hue Cardstock cut to 4" x 4". I embossed it with the 100 Acre Woods Embossing Folder and then used a blending brush to add more Hydrangea Hue ink over the embossed design. This little bit of extra ink really helps bring out the details and adds some depth to the background.

The Element – Country

When I think of "country," I immediately think of Pooh and his friends living in the country. That made the Silly Old Bear DSP a perfect choice!

And, of course, the 100 Acre Woods Embossing Folder fits the country theme perfectly. It gives the background that wonderful woodland feel that reminds me of the Hundred Acre Wood.

I used the coordinating Sweet Words & Labels Dies to cut out my focal image, along with the leaves and acorn.

The main image is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, giving it some extra dimension and making it stand out from the embossed background.

The Random Element – Frame(s)

The random element was Frame(s), and I had fun finding more than one way to incorporate that requirement!

My focal image already has a frame around it, so that was an easy connection. But I also created a frame around my sentiment using my Golden Glow Shimmer Brush.

It's always fun when a random element gives you a chance to look at your supplies in a different way!

Finishing Touches

I added the pretty Mossy Meadow Gingham Ribbon, which I absolutely love with these colors. Just a little heads-up—this ribbon won't be available until September 1st, when the new catalog debuts.

I finished the card with the 2026–2028 In Color Dots for a little extra sparkle and detail.

And there's another thing I really love about this design—it fits inside a regular A2 envelope! Even though it's a square card, the 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" size makes mailing it easy.

I have a short video on Youtube for you to watch:

Mini Slimline Z-Fold Card Featuring the Silly Old Bear Suite for an Instagram Hop

Mini Slimline Z-Fold Card for the Instagram Hop

Hello, crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing the Mini Slimline Z-Fold Card I created for a fun Instagram Hop. This fold is easy to make, stands beautifully on its own, and offers plenty of space to showcase your favorite designer papers.

For this project, I used the absolutely adorable Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper along with the Sweet Words & Labels Bundle. The die cuts and the "Congratulations" sentiment were the perfect finishing touches for this sweet card design.

The Silly Old Bear products are part of a Mega Suite featured in the May 2026 Online Exclusives collection. These products are some of the cutest I've seen, and they bring back such wonderful feelings of nostalgia. The charming bear images and coordinating papers make creating special cards effortless.

Card Measurements

Card Base

  • Hydrangea Hue Cardstock: 7" x 6"
  • Score at 1 3/4" and 3 1/2"

Designer Series Paper

  • Two front panels: 1 1/2" x 5 3/4"
  • One inside panel: 3 1/4" x 5 3/4"
  • One back writing panel: 3 1/4" x 5 3/4"

One of my favorite features of this design is the panel on the back where I can write a personal note. It keeps the front and inside of the card beautifully decorated while still leaving plenty of room for a heartfelt message.

The Z-fold design creates dimension and interest while remaining easy to fold and mail. When displayed, the card stands up nicely, making it perfect for celebrating special occasions.

Be sure to join me on Instagram @jeanspaperjewels to see this project and all of the amazing inspiration from the other talented participants in the Mini Slimline Card Hop. You'll find lots of creative ideas and unique interpretations of this fun card style.

Thank you for stopping by today. Happy crafting!
